Allyn and I enjoy reporting about our trips. They create fond memories and hopefully you enjoy travelling “virtually” with us.

Well, we have an upcoming Canadian train trip that you may be interested in joining which is why we are writing now.

The Canadian Rockies and Western Canada are famous for some of the most beautiful places in the world, let alone chock full of activities for all.

Allyn and I wanted to visit Western Canada on our three-month road trip this summer but as you know, the Canadian border has been closed.

It is now open to vaccinated U.S. Citizens.   Plus Canada additionally requires a recent (72 hours) Covid test and the Train requires one to board. There is a particularly fabulous trip we are taking. Perhaps you would like to join us?

In a nutshell starting September 19, 2021:

Day 1 – Vancouver overnight

Day 2 – Rocky Mountaineer Train to Kamloops; overnight Kamloops hotel

Day 3 – Rocky Mountaineer Train to Banff; two overnights Banff hotel

Day 4 – Banff

Day 5 – Tour Yoho National Park and arrive Lake Louise; overnight Lake Louise

Day 6 – Tour Columbia Icefield on way to Jasper; two overnights Jasper

Day 7  – Jasper

Day 8 – Rocky Mountaineer Jasper to Kamloops; overnight Kamloops

Day 9 – Rocky Mountaineer Kamloops – Vancouver; overnight Vancouver

PLUS, SPECIAL PROMOTION – Two free nights in Victoria or Vancouver either before or after.

Prices range from $5,206 to $8,527 per person.

The train has two levels of service and there are two hotel categories including the finest in the area. Plus, there are room upgrades in the top hotels.

    We have done this train and it’s so much fun!! The scenery is gorgeous. We loved the Rocky Mountaineer, I’ve actually done it twice. Enjoy!

    Barry and Allyn, it’s really be a pleasure and I’ve learned so much.
    Joel has promised me we will do the same when he is finished with his term as a UW Regent and I finish with my term as a Seattle U. Trustee.
    Thank you for many suggestions to help us plan our road trip. I want to see all 50 states.
