Passover Seder
We had a Passover Seder on the ship and 88 passengers attended. That is probably the biggest turnout for any activity in 2 months.
You can imagine what turmoil just the planning of it is (in that every family has its own traditions). There must have been 20 people working on this for a week.
I’m not one for group decisions, generally feeling that a camel is a horse made by a committee. It was actually quite nice though.
Because we are on a cruise we needed special rules. The best was the search for the Afikoman, a half-piece of matzo hidden for the CHILDREN to find. Nobody under 60 was allowed to hunt for it.
They even prepared matzoh brei for us this morning.
