We overnighted in Monaco, but had to leave the pier by 6:00 a.m. because another ship had it reserved for today. We anchored just a few minutes away and stayed until 1:00 p.m.
I had a fine time staying onboard, exercising and reading on my deck. Allyn chose to go into town. Since it is Sunday and the stores did not open until 11:00, she didn’t have much to do other than get her own exercise. It is very hilly here.
Tonight was the one formal night for this leg. We were invited to dine with the hotel manager. I have been wondering whether it was on purpose because we have had several “issues,” or some kind of random thing that the front desk people do. In any event, it was quit pleasant.
After dinner, I went to the library to find a movie for us to watch after Allyn returned from seeing the entertainment. By the time I returned, she was in the room with a hotdog and fries from room service. That speaks to both the entertainment and the dinner.
