Today brought us to Southern Portugal where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. We walked Alvor, a quiet fishing village.

Later we toured Quinta dos Vales Winery, learned a bit, and tasted a bit more.

Fortunately it is right after harvest and here Allyn tastes the delicious “must” (the freshly pressed sweet grape juice before any fermentation has taken place).
