Osaka, Japan; Cruise Day 100
So, here we are on cruise day 100 docked at Osaka, Japan, overnight.
We took the opportunity today to spend a day in Kyoto, as they have better sights and is the home of much of Japan’s history.
We had previously arranged for a guide to meet us at the ship and take us for the day. We traveled by taxi, bullet train, and subway. The day was great fun and we learned a lot.
We even had time for a nice lunch at a Sushi Bar.
In Kyoto we spent most of our time at Nijo Castle and The Golden Pavilion. After lunch we drove around and visited the Geisha area and learned about that too.
