Tomorrow Allyn and I will board the Crystal Serenity for all five segments of its 96 day 2012 World Cruise.

Almost 300 of us are taking the entire voyage, which starts and ends in Los Angeles.

Those of us traveling on the entire voyage were honored tonight for a gala black tie event at the Beverly Wilshire. Since I’m not much for tuxedos I opted for my blue pinstripe suit.

No I’m not a vegan. The reason for the tennis shoes is that (accidentally) all my others were shipped ahead to the ship.  Several people gave me looks. However I didn’t feel much need to justify my attire.
