Ketchikan, Alaska 2012

There are two things that you need to know about Ketchikan. It is the salmon capital of the world and its average annual rainfall is four times more than my hometown, Seattle.

If you happen to get a clear day, it is also beautiful. We lucked out on the weather again.

Although we did this tour last year, we chose to take a seaplane to the Misty Fjords just to enjoy another day of beauty with no people around.
