Kariega Private Game Reserve, South Africa 2024
Allyn took a one day, all day safari to Kariega Private Game Reserve just a bit over an hour from Port Elizabeth where we were docked.
She had a great time and was amazed as to how near she got to the animals.

Zebras hug as a way of relaxing and looking out for predators in any direction.

Giraffes are particularly graceful.

Warthogs are particularly ugly.

There are a couple hippos relaxing.

These are white rhinos.

We haven’t seen ostriches in the wild previously.

The African buffalo is quite pretty.

The wildebeest, aka gnu, is a type of antelope.

They elephants were so close they could touch them. WOW!
