A person gets tired after 100 days on the road, even in luxury, but we had one more stop to make.
Allyn and I were asked to speak, train poker, and be honored guests at Daytona Beach’s 6th Annual Deep Stack Charity Classic along with World Series champions Phil Hellmuth and Greg Merson. Nice company.
They had an amazing 700 players turn out for a terrific evening of fun. Over $70,000 in prizes were given including all expense paid trips to Las Vegas for the entire final table as well as buy-ins to various Venetian events.
The big winners, though, were charities all over the community as well as a special school in Israel.
The tournament was held at Datona Kennel Club & Poker Room. I had never been to a dog race previously.
