Buenos Aires, Argentina 2025
Greater Buenos Aires with over 16 million people is the 14th largest metro area in the world. It is known as the Paris of South America. Both cities have tree-lined avenues, wide boulevards, and lush parks. The architecture is terrific. It is cosmopolitan and is a shopper’s paradise.

Our first day was a trip around the city on a hop-on hop-off bus.

We saw old buildings.

And new.

This building looked silly to me.

We saw many open spaces, which was nice.

The wide boulevards are amazing. Red lights and stop signs here are just suggestions.

There are impressive monuments all over town.

As well as traditional sculptures.

And even magnificent murals.

Allyn scored a bunch of purses and a shawl in the shopping department.

She got me a pair of shoe laces.

Of course, an overnight in port called for a famous Argentinean steak dinner out.
