2024 Summer Road Trip

Hi folks. Yesterday Allyn and I started a four-week trip to the far Northeast corner of the US.

We are driving for the first two weeks and then will be taking a coastal cruise for the second two weeks.

We flew to Newark’s new 1MM sq ft Terminal A which cost $2.3 billion. It’s the nicest terminal we have ever visited here in the US. It is functional, bright, clean, well-lit with great signage.

Today we visited the beautiful Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area which borders Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

We took an easy hike to the pretty Dingmans Falls.

The area we passed through was quite lovely.

First we passed by the thin Silverthread Falls.

The trek to Dingmans Falls was so flat and easy we decided to go to the top. It was 240 stairs. That is about 15 – 17 stories. That was plenty of exercise for our first day.
