Portofino, Italy

To me Portofino is the St. Tropez of the Italian Riviera without beaches.

Although small, it is wall to wall with delicious tratorias, designer stores and souvenir shops.

For a special lunch we went to the world famous Hotel Splendido and ate on the terrace overlooking the harbor. For $250 a couple can have a real nice lunch, unless you include a nice bottle of wine.
