Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada (2021)

This morning, traveling from Banff to Lake Louise we made several stops at Yoho National Park.

I think I figured out where Emerald Lake got its name.

Kicking Horse River was the prettiest spot on the trip so far.

If you ever go to Lake Louise, do yourself a favor and stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, and get a water facing room. Absolutely gorgeous.

Dinner was in the hotel at Fairview Bar and Restaurant in order to take advantage of the view and not have to go into town. As in Fairmont Banff, it was good food, service, great ambiance, and somewhat pricey. Perhaps any meal is pricey when you order two fancy bottles of wine.
