Istanbul, Turkey (day 2)
Today began our sixth and last segment of this summer’s cruise. Most passengers left and about 1,000 new ones embarked.
We went bazaar hopping.
First up was the Egyptian Spice Bazaar (1664). Fun, fascinating and gigantic.
Then came the Grand Bazaar (1461) with its 4,000 businesses with 30,000 employees. Fun, fascinating and really gigantic.
