Future Jet Travel
My conundrum. I love travel, but over time am more dissatisfied with airports, airplanes and packing/unpacking. Cruises eliminate that particular travel downside and often on this blog I have discussed the many upsides to cruises. Not today though.
Airbus has applied for a new patent. Most assuredly many patents do not come to fruition, but this one certainly shows where their head is at. No seat cushion, no backrest, no headrest, no tray, no screen, no seat storage, no comfort.
In the application they even say state “Reduced comfort remains tolerable for the passengers in as much as the flight lasts only one or a few hours.” Easy for them to say.
Hard work has many rewards. One is, not sitting on a bicycle seat traveling en masse.
I think that the slave rowing vessels of old were roomier.
