Fethiye, Turkey

Fethiye, the “Turkish Riviera” is in South Turkey on the Mediterranean Sea.

Nearby is Kayakoy, a ghost town and modern day ruin. Due to a population exchange agreement in 1923, the entire population of this Greek Christian town was shipped town to Greece by Turkey. Now it is a UNESCO Heritage site.

Fethiye is known for its long, white sandy beaches.

The most famous area is its Blue Lagoon.
