They love their gold in Dubai.

Something here reminds me of Las Vegas.

One building after another was built bigger, gaudier, sexier and/or costlier than the previous.

Then the recession came, and building froze (with the cranes still in place just sitting there).

It is a perfect place for a helicopter tour to get the perspective.

I couldn’t get a shot of the nonexistent security. I think all the terrorists are out of town on business.
