Crew Welfare Fund Auction
Today was one of those days where people had fun, showed their kind side, and actually did something for others.
The ship had an auction and raised an incredible $30,000 for the crew welfare fund. Most of us overbid like crazy, but it was for a good cause.
They auctioned off things such as dinner in the Captain’s quarters, cooking lessons with the executive chef, and private dance lessons with the head dancers.
Allyn and I bought:
1) a day of hosting the daily onboard TV program
2) a night of Karaoke in the Bosun’s area
3) a back of the house tour of the bowels of the ship, crew quarters, etc.
