Celina (TX) High School
This week Allyn and I find ourselves in Durant, OK at the Choctaw Casino for another Championship Card Player Poker Tour event.
The “local” airport is Dallas Fort Worth (DFW).
So where does Celina (TX) High School fit in. About half way here we passed an unbelievably gorgeous high school that looked more like a mansion. That was even more impressive given the fact the city population is just 6,000 and most buildings along the route were quite bleak.
The secret – Texas takes their high school football very serious and the Celina Bobcats have eight state football championships with a 68 game winning streak.
Winning football pays in Texas.
