2024 World Cruise; Week 1, San Diego to Honolulu At Sea

We are off to a great start as we spent the first week sailing from San Diego to Honolulu.

They had a lovely Welcome Aboard party the first night as so often is the case.

Our Junior Crystal Penthouse cabin is perfect for us. We moved a few items around to make it even roomier.

People often ask if we get bored. Always we answer in the negative pointing out that sea days are our favorite. Take yesterday for example. In the morning, I went to the gym and Allyn did Pilates.

There are always good lectures at 10 and 11. Instead, yesterday I  opted for a photo class.

I did catch the tail end of the interesting Hawaiian History story.

We went to a close-up magic show (just 25 people) and were blown away as usual.

Then we had a cocktail reception in the captain’s quarters.

Dinner was at the fancy new Italian restaurant.

The evening before we had the usual fabulous Japanese meal at Nobu’s Umi Uma.

Allyn generally goes to the evening shows. I tend to stick to comedians, magicians, and the like.

Today was Honolulu. We finally had a chance to relax. 😊
