Pious Glacier, Chile 2025

Today (cruise day 33) we are in Chile’s Southern ice field in Patagonia viewing the Pious Glacier.

It is the largest glacier (40 miles long) in the Southern Hemisphere except for Antarctica.

Obviously, it’s COLD here!

It is impossible to capture the magnitude given that there is no frame of reference.
